Adam Cooper-Terán is an award-winning independent media artist from Tucson, Arizona, known for creating video installation-spectacles with various performance groups based in the Southwest & Mexico. His work has reached audiences internationally, from the French Embassy of Mexico City, to the Diana Krall Plaza in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

Collaborators (past & present) include world renown pyrotechnic theater troupe Flam Chen, Verbobala Spoken Video, Not Breathing, Glenn Weyant, Carpetbag Brigade, Bad Unkl Sista, Bark Bark Bark, Metrognome, Slobodan Kajkut, Crimson Coast Dance Society, and La Pocha Nostra.

Creative processes are based on sampling the Internet using various methods similar to DJing, cooking, or Lego-building. Interests range in scope, inspiring a repertoire exploring subjects as diverse as pornography, urban sprawl, portraiture, mysticism, the paranormal, and terrorism. Current projects are generally focused on media de-construction, mostly in opposition to the War on Terrorism, Information, and the War in Iraq.
