The final recorded conversation of 9/11 victim, Kevin Cosgrove, was distributed online via YouTube, and has since become one of the many "viral videos" to grace the Internet since the Web 2.0 boom. Public response to the post has ranged from disgust to sadness, to outright enjoyment; the comments of which can be found in the link below.

Witnessing the death of a human being is a profound experience, and since the Internet, it's never been easier to view such a moment. The recording of Mr. Cosgrove is no exception. His last words mark the moment of death, the final seconds before his spirit left the body, and it is forever captured online.

The idea of Mr. Cogrove's spirit drifting the digital plane, a ghost in the machine, inspired WORLD TRADE CENTER. It is a tribute to Kevin Cosgrove and a symbolic gesture offering his spirit an exit from Tower 2.
